Novaspace expands to India
November 18, 2025
Novaspace, the global consulting and market-intelligence firm dedicated to the space sector, has announced the opening of its new office in India.
“India today stands at a crossroads in the global space economy,” said Pacôme Révillon, CEO of Novaspace.“As the country transitions from government-led missions to commercially driven applications, it is becoming one of the most compelling opportunities in the global space sector. For Novaspace, entering India is a natural and timely step that allows us to align our consulting, technology, and market-intelligence expertise with a vibrant, large-scale, and fast-moving ecosystem. We believe that by being local, we are better placed to partner with Indian government, industry and academia, to co-develop solutions and serve both domestic and export markets.”
India’s Space Momentum: A Global Inflection Point
India’s space journey has evolved from a government-led pursuit into a globally integrated ecosystem blending innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic ambition. According to the Novaspace Government Space Programmes 2024 report, IN-SPACe’s ‘Decadal Vision and Strategy for the Indian Space Economy’ report sets out a ten-year roadmap to transform India into “a dominant space power,” with the government targeting growth from $8.4 billion in 2022 to $44 billion by 2033 through stronger public–private collaboration and international partnerships.
Supported by progressive reforms, including clarified Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) rules, new venture and technology funds for startups, and expanding civil programmes in launch capabilities, Earth observation, telecommunications, and human spaceflight, India is rapidly positioning itself as one of the world’s most open and collaborative hubs for space innovation.
“Our presence in India is not just about proximity — it’s about partnership,” added Rainer Horn, Partner and Managing Director at Novaspace. “We aim to serve as a bridge between Indian capabilities and global opportunities, helping accelerate technology transfer, attract investment, and strengthen the country’s position in the global space economy. As a trusted advisor, we also see our role in India as ensuring access to reliable insights and data that can guide strategic choices and contribute to the sustained growth of the Indian space sector.”
