The Whisper Group, the production company, has announced a partnership with RunGP, supporting the launch of the global running competition and movement.
RunGP, powered by the Global Running League, is a professional, team-based running league — combining elite competition, team strategy, and mass participation on some of the world’s most iconic racetracks. Endorsed by multiple Olympic, World and European champion, Sir Mo Farah and a lineup of international athletes, RunGP will introduce team competition formats to global audiences, uniting runners of all levels on Grand Prix racetracks to push limits, forge connections, and create meaningful competition that engages viewers worldwide.
Whisper is joining RunGP as a Founding Partner, delivering its production expertise and creative know-how, and multi-platform content creation, to help inspire and engage people to move and build healthier communities.
The inaugural event was held at the iconic Lusail International Circuit, and the first film is available to stream now on DAZN and Eurovision Sport.
Marcel Muenster, Founder and CEO of RunGP, commented: “RunGP brings runners of all levels together on legendary race tracks; to push limits, forge connections and drive real change. Together with Whisper, we will redefine what running can be: blending elite performance, creativity and purpose to build a healthier, more connected planet.”
Sunil Patel, Whisper co-founder and CEO, said: “RunGP combines elements that Whisper is passionate about – building communities, creating compelling content with purpose, and using the power of sport to help deliver change. The events will feature some of the most iconic venues in motorsport, which will act as genuine inspiration for runners of all abilities to get involved. The team dynamic adds another really innovative element that speaks to Whisper’s disruptive nature. All this, along with the great stories of individual athletes and the team narrative, makes for a brilliant opportunity to help build something special.”
