FreeWheel appoints d’Août as VP of Sales, International

FreeWheel, a Comcast Company, and atechnology platform for the streaming advertising ecosystem, has announced the appointment of Laurence d’Août as Vice President of Sales, International.
In her new role, d’Août will lead the development and execution of revenue generation initiatives across FreeWheel’s international markets, bolstering the company’s continuous growth. She will report directly to Thomas Bremond, Managing Director of Comcast Advertising, International.
D’Août joins FreeWheel with over 25 years of executive management experience spanning the telecommunications, media, and technology sectors across major markets such as the US, Europe, Russia, and LatAm – with more than a decade focused on digital transformation.
Her experience in scaling ventures includes her tenure as Chief Commercial Officer at Deezer, where d’Août directed global go-to-market operations and secured key distribution partnerships across Latin America and Europe. She has held leadership roles at Liberty Global, where she led data monetisation initiatives and negotiated the landmark Sky AdSmart partnership for Virgin Media. D‘Août also spent more than 10 years at the Times Group (MTG), where she spearheaded the expansion of Viasat TV channels across Russia and Eastern Europe. She also oversaw all content divisions, securing the rights to launch Viaplay in the Nordics.
