SoftAtHome collaborates with Qualcomm

October 9, 2025

SoftAtHome, an independent software company specialszing in broadband, video, and analytics, today announced a strengthening of its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, a specialist in wireless technology innovation, to accelerate prpl deployments with broadband operators worldwide.

Both companies play strategic roles in the prpl Foundation. Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is a Platinum Board Member and supports the Foundation’s Fast Track Reference Board. Meanwhile, SoftAtHome chairs the Marketing Committee and is a key contributor to the prplWare stack.

Their collaboration spans multiple initiatives, including prplMesh and the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), combining Qualcomm Technologies’ chipset expertise and support for open-source drivers with SoftAtHome’s carrier-grade software solutions, which Tier 1 operators trust.

Building on this strong foundation, the two companies are already collaborating on ongoing Tier one operator deployments on either side of the Atlantic, scheduled to go live in the coming months. Demonstrations of SoftAtHome’s Value-Added Services running on Qualcomm Technologies platforms will be showcased at the upcoming prpl Summit and Network X events in Paris next week.

“Qualcomm Technologies is excited to collaborate with SoftAtHome to accelerate broadband innovation,” said Ganesh Swaminathan VP and GM of Wireless, Infrastructure, and Network at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. “By combining our leadership in Wi-Fi, 5G, fiber, edge AI and integrated networking platforms with extensive open-source support, and SoftAtHome’s deep expertise in delivering Value Added Services on prplWare, we’re enabling operators to deliver more flexible, scalable, and standards-based solutions. Our efforts are already powering two upcoming customer deployments, and we look forward to continued success together”.

“We are proud to strengthen our relationship with Qualcomm Technologies, a company whose leadership in chipsets and open-source drivers is invaluable to the prpl community,” said Arnaud Bellivier de Prin, CEO of SoftAtHome. “By combining our strengths, we help operators rapidly deploy innovative, open, and carrier-grade services for the connected home.”
