October 9, 2025
Guinness World Records (GWR), the global authority on record-breaking achievements, has announced a deal with Romanian broadcaster Pro TV. The partnership will see three GWR series airing on Pro Arena and streaming on Voyo:
· Best of the Best (22 x 30’) – A high-energy clip show serving up the wildest, weirdest, and most wonderful records from the GWR archives, spanning incredible human skills, endurance, and animal feats.
· Guinness World Records: Gone Viral (20 x 30’) – A fast-paced, visually striking series featuring gravity-defying sports and fitness records from around the world, built around fun themes and designed for instant global appeal.
· Officially Amazing – Recut (49 x 30’)– A refreshed edition of the BAFTA-nominated hit kids’ show, hosted by Ben Shires, packed with head-to-head challenges, global record attempts, and laugh-out-loud entertainment for younger audiences.
The agreement expands GWR’s footprint in Central and Eastern Europe, offering Pro TV viewers a mix of inspiring, family-friendly and globally relevant content.
Katie Forde, SVP TV & Digital at Guinness World Records, commented: “We’re delighted to join forces with Pro TV in Romania. These shows capture the spirit of record-breaking – exciting, surprising and highly entertaining. This partnership also coincides with Guinness World Records’ 70th anniversary year, making it a particularly significant occasion to share the magic of record-breaking stories with new audiences.”
Iulia Plesi – Head of Acquisition at Pro TV, added: “Guinness World Records is an iconic brand, and we’re proud to bring these programmes to our audiences on Pro Arena and Voyo. They’re the perfect blend of fun, amazement and inspiration.”
Best of the Best, Guinness World Records: Gone Viral and Officially Amazing – Recut will roll out on Pro Arena and Voyo this autumn.
