Disney+ has announced that Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* will debut on the streaming platform on August 27th.

The movie assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes consisting of Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission. Forced to confront the darkest corners of their pasts, will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite before it’s too late?

Thunderbolts* is directed by Jack Schrier, and this cast include Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko and David Harbour. It is the 36th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
