Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical is now streaming exclusively on Disney+. Captured live onstage at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End, the stage production features Samantha Barks as Elsa, Laura Dawkes as Anna and the cast of the smash London production who bring the celebrated tale of sisterhood, bravery, and self-discovery to life.
In Frozen: The Hit Broadway Musical, Queen Elsa’s hidden powers plunge Arendelle into an eternal winter and her sister Anna sets out to find her and save the kingdom. As the storm rages on, both sisters must learn that only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart.
With 12 new songs written just for the stage by Academy Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus fan-favourites such as For the First Time in Forever, Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and the global anthem Let It Go, the musical delivers the magic of the film, along with a few surprises along the way.
The release of the Broadway adaptation expands the ever-growing Frozen universe, offering fans yet another way to experience the heartfelt wonder of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and friends. During their cinema run, Frozen and Frozen 2 earned over $1.2 billion and $1.4 billion in the global box office, respectively, with each ranking among the highest-grossing animated films of all time. Frozen 3 is scheduled for a November 2027 release, whilst a Frozen-themed land – called The Kingdom of Arendelle – will be opening at Disneyland Paris in 2026.
