African Movie Channel (AMC), the UK-based Nollywood broadcaster, has announced the launch of its 24-hour FAST channel, Nolly Africa HD, on Whale TV+.

Nolly Africa HD can now be streamed by audiences in the UK, Ireland, France, Canada and the US (including US Virgin Islands). AMC’s two pay-TV Nollywood channels are already distributed throughout sub-Saharan Africa and outside Africa, in Guyana and the Dutch Caribbean.

Nolly Africa HD offers a curated lineup of Nollywood cinema blockbusters, and exclusive Nollywood movies, series and unscripted Nollywood programming, all from AMC’s original production division, AMCOP.

“This continued expansion illustrates just how strong the demand is for Nollywood content globally” said ‘Yinka Mayungbo, Founding Director of AMC. “Nolly Africa HD delivers premium Nollywood entertainment for FAST audiences; our goal has always been to make high-quality Nollywood entertainment accessible worldwide.”

Whale TV+ is available on Whale TV models from various TV brands and will soon launch on other platforms. Whale TV+ allows streaming of thousands of hours of free TV, both live and on demand.
