Electric Entertainment licenses Leverage: Redemption to WAKO In Japan

Electric Entertainment, the US-based production and distribution company, has closed a deal with WAKO in Japan for the first season of Electric Entertainment’s original spin-off series Leverage Redemption. WAKO will have TV and VoD rights. The announcement was jointly made by Sonia Mehandjiyska, Head of International Distribution at Electric Entertainment, and the Acquisition team at WAKO.
Nolan Pielak, (SVP of International Distribution at Electric Entertainment), who negotiated the deal with WAKO, staid “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with WAKO. Our recent collaboration on another of our original series, Almost Paradise, was a great way to introduce our content to Japanese audiences. WAKO’s demand for more Electric titles reaffirms our commitment to delivering engaging blue-sky entertainment. We look forward to deepening our relationship with WAKO and sharing even more compelling stories with them.”

Leverage Redemption is the spin-off continuation of the cult-favorite series Leverage. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on Prime Video in the US and the UK, along with the current third season, which premiered in April.
