Aziz Diallo has been appointed General Manager of Pay-TV French-speaking Africa. He will report to David Mignot, Managing Director of Canal+ Africa.
Diallo began his career in 2004 with Alcatel in the international sales department. In 2007, he joined Greenwich Consulting as a senior consultant, before joining MTN, the African telco, two years later as Senior Manager, West and Central Africa Operations. In 2014, he became Managing Director of Canal+ Mali, then of Canal+ Côte d’Ivoire, in 2017.
Mignot commented: “Aziz has successfully contributed to the group’s activities first in Mali and then in Côte d’Ivoire, which has become the 3rd most important country for Canal+. I am convinced that his leadership, his strong expertise in African markets, and the roles he has held within our subsidiaries will be key to supporting the Canal+ group’s ambitions on the continent”.
