wedotv launches 4 channels on Dens.TV in Indonesia

wedotv, the ad-supported free streaming TV network, is stepping into the Asian television market with the launch of four of its proprietary channels on Dens.TV in Indonesia.
Dens.TV is a multi-device, on-demand video platform featuring a variety of entertainment channels for its users and is available on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as via set-top boxes, Smart TVs and the web. The service has now added the channels wedotv movies, wedotv BIG stories, wedotv amor, and wedotv sports to its platform. wedotv movies is a female-skewing movie service; wedotv BIG stories focuses on outdoor survival, reality, and cooking shows; wedotv amor features popular telenovelas; and wedotv sports provides live coverage of various sports, as well as documentaries on renowned sports figures.

wedotv’s Asian expansion is being led by Greg Ang and Harold Gronenthal, who have been managing these efforts through GangTV, Ang’s long-standing Singapore-based content and distribution company.
“2024 was a year of incredible growth for wedotv. We expanded our distribution in the UK and Germany, while extending our reach with launches in Italy, the Nordics, Benelux, the US, Brazil, and MENA,” added wedotv’s Philipp Rotermund. “We have wanted to enter the Asian market for some time, but we knew we needed a team on the ground with the right expertise. Greg Ang and Harold Gronenthal are TV executives with tremendous experience in the region. Having them as part of our team will significantly enhance our ability to expand and progress across the region .”
