Titchmarsh launching gardening YouTube Channel

Middlechild Productions, the independent unscripted production company based in Brighton, has announced a new YouTube channel presented by gardening legend Alan Titchmarsh.
The channel, Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh, will launch in April 2025 will celebrate Titchmarsh’s horticultural legacy while providing a platform for a wealth of tips and ideas. Titchmarsh will pass on his vast knowledge and experience via the channel in a series of videos aimed to inspire gardeners around the world.
These weekly YouTube episodes will offer viewers a mix of entertaining ‘how-to videos’, informative tips, specific masterclasses and helpful and accessible advice from Titchmarsh. The videos will be published simultaneously on newly created YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts. The series will also have the potential for brand tie-ins and product placements.
Titchmarsh commented: “I’d never have guessed that I would become a 75-year-old influencer and be hosting on the world’s biggest streaming platform. I’ve been gardening for more than 60 years, and this is the perfect place to pass on that knowledge to an international audience of all ages. YouTube has become the go to platform for people wanting to learn new skills so where better for me to inspire new gardeners and help experienced gardeners hone their skills.”
David Sumnall, Founder and CEO, Middlechild Productions said: “This will be Middlechild’s first YouTube project and we couldn’t be more excited to be working alongside a broadcasting legend in this new venture.”
Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh will be executive produced by Sumnall and Matt Young.
