Tubi on TiVo OS powered TVs in UK
January 28, 2025

Xperi has partnered with Tubi, the free streaming service, to bring an array of free content to TiVo OS powered TVs across the UK.
Tubi, owned by Fox, offers a content library of over 250,000 movies and TV episodes, a growing collection of exclusive originals and over 250 live channels. TiVo OS will play a key role in helping Tubi reach UK consumers as it continues its expansion in the region.
The partnership between Tubi and TiVo also underscores the critical role streaming services play in the success of an OS’s content service provider (CSP) stack. Gabriel Cosgrave, General Manager EMEA & SVP Global Sales at Xperi, explained: “VoD catalogues typically carry a mix of old & new content which is attractive to many audiences. Services like Tubi offer viewers a frictionless yet personalised experience as well as a spontaneous discovery of content across the decades at no additional cost. By integrating Tubi into our content ecosystem, we’re not just following a trend – we’re responding to clear audience demand for more flexible, accessible, broad & nostalgic entertainment options. Viewers expect not only a time spanning catalogue of content but a simplicity in finding the right content and a must-have feature for any platform seeking to provide a complete content experience.”
