34 countries in Netflix ISP Speed Index top tier in April

Ninety-two percent of Internet Service Providers (ISPs) stayed at the same speed in April on the Netflix ISP Speed Index, a monthly update on which ISPs provide the best prime-time Netflix streaming experience.
Thirty-four countries and regions were in the top performance tier for April – the UK, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and the US all registered an average speed of 3.0 Mbps.
In Kuwait, BOnline and Zajil Telecom each increased from 2.2 to 2.4 Mbps since March’s results. Both Copaco in Paraguay and Reytel in Honduras climbed from 2.0 to 2.2 Mbps, and Wancom in Pakistan ascended from 2.4 to 2.6 Mbps. Meanwhile, Viettel in Vietnam experienced a decrease of 0.4 Mbps, dropping from 2.6 to 2.2 Mbps.
Four countries experienced an overall decrease of 0.2 Mbps this month: South Africa and Vietnam fell from 2.8 to 2.6 Mbps, while Argentina and Uruguay dropped from 3.0 to 2.8 Mbps.
