Rakuten TV continues to expand its free ad-supported channel offering and strengthens its sports content proposition with the addition of Tennis Channel and USGA Golf. With these latest acquisitions, Rakuten TV now offers over 100 free linear channels.

Sports fans can now watch USGA Golf and Tennis channel 24/7 alongside the broad portfolio of content across multiple categories, from extreme and action sports, to motorsports and competition disciplines such as wrestling, golf and tennis. Sports channels available on Rakuten TV include brands such as FuelTV, MAVTV Motorsports Network, EDGEsport, InTrouble TV and Hard Knocks Fighting Champ. The company says it anticipates future additions to this category to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Tennis Channel is now available in the UK, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It features some of the most memorable matches in the history of the sport, exclusive original series and features on the best players in the world as well as documentaries and live tennis coverage. Highlights of programming for the coming weeks include competitions around the globe, such as the UK Pro Series and Tennis Bundesliga.

USGA Golf channel is now available in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. The channel gives fans a free front-row seat to experience the game’s rich history and promising present, featuring films and telecasts that revisit some of golf’s most memorable moments and greatest performances from the game’s biggest stars.
