Apple TV+ on Fire Stick
October 25, 2019
Apple has added Amazon Fire to the platforms on which its TV service is available for launch. The App is added the Fire TV Stick 4k, the 2nd generation Fire TV Stick and the Fire TV Basic Edition.
The announcement follows similar launches on Roku dongles and Samsung smart TVs – with support for LG, Sony and Vizio sets promised soon.
As well as subscriptions the Apple TV app offers non-subscribers the ability to stream movies or TV shows they’ve purchased through iTunes.
Apple is offering the US$4.99 per month service free for a year to anybody who purchases a new Apple device, such as iPhones, Macs and Apple TV set-top boxes.
