Orange Spain adding Amazon Prime Video
November 15, 2018
From David Del Valle in Madrid
Orange Spain will soon add the Amazon Prime Video streaming service to its TV offer. The service will be launching “in the next few months” according to Orange, with a specific app and likely a promotional launch offer.
With the partnership, Orange Spain will strengthen its cinema and TV series content at a time of intense competition in the Spanish market. Its rival Movistar is also finalising an agreement with Amazon to integrate the service into its platform, along with the Netflix integration which is set to launch next month.
Orange has also announced the launch of a new STB for Android TV including Chromecast.
