Spain: Mediapro production deals with Netflix, HBO, Amazon

Mediapro has struck Spanish TV production deals with OTT platforms Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBO, as well as DirecTV and Fox.
The media group is launching TV Series Edha, a 13 episode drama, and also producing Fe de Etarras y Una y no más exclusively for Netflix and. It is also producing Six Dreams for Amazon Prime; El fútbol no es así for DirecTV; the third season of Vis a Vis for Fox; and the second season of The Young Pope for HBO.
With theses alliances, Mediapro is seeking to challenge Telefónica as the leading Spanish TV producer in the International market.
