Pokémon Go for China

Pokémon Go maker Niantic has confirmed plans to launch its hit mobile AR game in China later this year.
The firm has revealed it will bring the game to the country after agreeing a partnership deal with a local company NetEase. Chinese regulations covering online content state that foreign firms must find a partner to launch digital ventures in the country.
Niantic gave no specific date for when Pokémon Go would be available in China. The game launched to most of the rest of the world in July 2016.
