MTV chooses Norigin Media for Smart TV apps

MTV Oy, the Finnish Media and TV company, has chosen Norigin Media to build smart TV applications on Samsung and LG Connected TVs. The company which is part of the Bonnier Group plans to launch a new premium TV streaming services on these applications.
Norigin Media will utilise its multi-screen TV-App modules and framework to develop the custom designed applications for the broadcaster. The unique applications will be directly integrated towards MTV´s advanced OTT platform, which already supports the Katsomo Apps today.
Jyri kylönen, Assistant Director of of MTV Oy said, “MTV is visionary about their unique design and user experience. Norigin has been selected to implement the Smart-TV apps, which requires a short deployment timeline and a very high quality user-interface and experience. Norigin has deployed multi-screen Apps across Europe for many years which was a key factor in us choosing them.”
