Ahead of the February 18th launch of Season 6 of talent show The Voice in France, commercial broadcaster TF1 has unveiled its first VR experience, and the first to be to linked to an entertainment show in the country.
Accessible via the MyTF1VR app, the VR experience will enable users to watch all of the auditions as if they were one of the judges/coaches on the set.
The MyTF1VR app is free to use and available to download from the Apple Store and Google Play, and is compatible with a Samsung Gear VR or a VR Google Cardboard for smartphone.
Later this year, TFi intends to add more VR experiences to the MyTF1VR app, including documentaries, news reports, sports and immersive short-form content.
