Netflix scooped two awards at the Golden Globes ceremony. The streaming giant’s royal monarch production The Crown was named best drama whilst Claire Foy won the award for best actress for the same series.
Stranger Things, Netflix’ 80s-inspired sci-fi drama that proved to be one of the biggest TV hits of 2016, failed to win any awards despite three nominations.
Rival service Amazon Prime Video also triumphed with Billy Bob Thornton winning the best actor award for legal drama Goliath.
