Spain: Tele 5 leads market for the 5th year in a row

Tele 5, operated by Mediaset, leads the ratings for the fifth consecutive year with an average share of 14.4 per cent, followed by Antena 3, owned by Atresmedia with 12.8 per cent and public TV channel La 1 with 10.1 per cent, according to the consultancy firm Barlovento Comunicación
Public Regional channels got the worst result in their history with 7.4 per cent followed by La Sexta with 7.1 per cent and Cuatro with 6.5.
By groups, Mediaset, owner of Tele 5 and Cuatro among others, is the market leader with a combined share of 30.2 per cent followed by Atresmedia, owner of Antena 3 and La Sexta with 27.1 per cent and in third place RTVE with 16.8 per cent.
