Pacific Television Centre bought by The Switch

Fast-growing TV transmission and facilities company The Switch has bought Pacific Television Centre (PacTV) which has major TV distribution, uplinking and playout operations in Los Angeles, London, New York and in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
“Through this acquisition, we intend to continue to build upon the solid reputation and relationships PacTV has built within the international broadcast community,” said Scott Beers, Chairman/CEO of The Switch.
The Switch has tapped into fresh finance from True Wind Capital, along with New Amsterdam Capital as well as its existing shareholders for extra funding.
Its client roster includes ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, CNN, Sky and BBC in the UK, Network TEN in Australia and Sky in New Zealand as well as top carriers including Level 3/Vyvx, SingTel, Intelsat, SES, and BT.
Financial terms were not revealed.
