From David Del Valle in Madrid
Mediaset Spain, owner of Tele 5 and Cuatro among other channels, has launched what it claims to be the first multiscreen TV ad offer in the country. The offer includes all distribution platforms such as TV, tablets, PCs, smart TVs, mobile phones and online streaming.
The initiative, called Superspot Total allows the simultaneous broadcast of a TV ad campaign also on online platforms such as telecinco.es, cuatro.com, and mitele.es.
Mediaset has the biggest TV audience share in Spain with an average share of 30.5 per cent, including all its channels, and an online consumption of over 790 million videos from January to September 2016.
With this move, advertisers will be able to reach a greater audience with some of the country’s most watched programmes such as La Voz (The Voice) with 8.4 million potential viewers and Gran Hermano (Big Brother) with 6.2 million.
