WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) has reported a total of 1.458 active subscribers to its WWE Network for the third quarter this year, compared to 1.306 million total active subscribers in the same quarter last year.
In Q2, WWE announced a total of 1.52 million active subscribers for their OTT service.
WWE is rumoured to be attempting to buy out rival wrestling promotion TNA which is currently facing bankruptcy. The acquisition would give WWE the company’s near 15-year back catalogue of content that would be added to the WWE Network.
