Twitter shuts Vine, lay-offs
October 28, 2016
Vine, the six-second video app, is shutting down completely. Owner Twitter has decided to shut down its Vine mobile app, reportedly as part of its plan to rescue itself from its ongoing financial crisis.

Earlier this week, Twitter announced it was axing around 350 staff – some 9 per cent of its work force – after reporting a sharp decline in revenue growth
