Viceland for Netherlands
October 24, 2016
Viceland, the lifestyle and culture channel aimed at millennials, will launch on Dutch cable platform Ziggo with a localised version in early 2017. Further availability across other platforms will follow.
The channel, a spin-off from Vice magazine, will produce all of its content in-house.
Viceland launched in the US and Canada in February and in the UK in September. Enders Analysis reported that Viceland has thus far struggled to find an audience in the UK, but the channel rebutted that it started life similarly slow in the US and Canada.
