Google launching Chromecast 4K?

Google is reportedly prepping to launch a 4K version of Chromecast.
The ‘Chromecast Ultra’ device would bring 4K and HDR support to the streaming media device, and is already rumoured to cost double what the Chromecast currently costs.
Google is planning a major event on October 4th, when such a device would likely be unveiled.
