Cloud sees video hardware dwindle

As major media companies actively attempt to own their own video delivery technology, there continues to be a push toward agile services, often cloud-based, to keep pace with the fast-moving video market. ABI Research finds that video equipment will see a 4 per cent CAGR through 2021, while Managed Video Platforms (MVPs) focused on providing turnkey service offerings and delivering media & entertainment content will see a 17 per cent CAGR in the same period.
