TiVo on Amazon Fire TV
January 6, 2016
As part of TiVo’s effort to make TiVo-recorded content available no matter where consumers are and what device they are using, TiVo now allows users to download the TiVo app on their Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick for easy access to TiVo DVR recordings on any TV in the home or remotely.
The application allows users to select which DVR to play from, set up streaming to the app, and control the playback experience, giving users more control over how and when they watch their favourite content. Users can continue playing from where they’ve left off on the main DVR, or jump forward or backward within a recording.
The application is available to TiVo Stream, TiVo Roamio Plus, TiVo Roamio Pro, or TiVo BOLT users.
