Finland: DNA to continue broadcasting Yle HD channels
December 21, 2015
DNA will continue distributing Yle’s HD channels to households over the terrestrial network in the coming year. The Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle and DNA have agreed to continue the channels’ distribution via DNA’s terrestrial network, as before. The network covers some 85 per cent of Finnish households.
All four Yle HD channels can be viewed via DNA’s terrestrial network for free and unencrypted.
“We are delighted to be able to continue offering Yle HD channels to households over the terrestrial network. Yle’s investment in the development of its HD service is evident in its interesting programme content and high technical quality,” says Pekka Väisänen, Senior Vice President, Consumer Business.
