Telefonica’s pay-TV platform Movistar Plus is adding Dolby Digital 5.1 audio to its premium channels, VoD content and catch-up services.

Subscribers can activate the Dolby audio through the Menu. Some of the channels with the Dolby audio are Canal Plus HD, Canal Plus Series HD, Canal Plus Series Xtra HD, Canal Plus Estrenos HD, Canal Plus Xtra HD, Canal Plus Acción HD, Canal Plus Comedia HD and Canal Plus DCine HD.

To enjoy the Dolby Audio, it is necessary to have a STB Zyxel or Arris with ADB380X and ADB2840 being compatible shortly.
