upc: “More customers for Internet, telephony, mobile”

upc cablecom has grown once again in the Internet, telephony and mobile markets in the third quarter of 2015. Revenue increased to CHF 333.4 million (€310m) over this period – a year-on-year increase of 3.2 per cent. The business customer segment experienced strong growth of 14 per cent.
In the third quarter of 2015, upc cablecom introduced a new, attractive Mobile portfolio, developed the popular Replay TV functions further, announced a new original co-production for MyPrime and entered into worthwhile partnerships, such as with the Spengler Cup, Davos. Meanwhile, the number of subscriptions in the areas of Internet, telephony and Mobile increased. In the first nine months of this year, upc cablecom added 30,400 new Internet subscribers and now boasts a total of 759,700 Internet customers. The number of telephony customers grew to over 500,000 for the first time. TV subscriptions number over 1.3 million, as before, but this figure dropped slightly compared with the second quarter of 2015 by 21,500 to 1,331,500 (-1.6 per cent).
