June 30, 2015
From Pascale Paoli-Lebailly in Paris
Orange’s OTT HDMI dongle is set to be launched on July 9th in France and will allow viewers to watch Orange’s TV channels and services (VoD, replay, Dailymotion) anywhere, regardless of broadband provider.
Directly rivalling Google’s Chromecast, Orange is the first French telco to deliver this kind of OTT dongle that can plug-in to any connected device.
The dongle will be priced €39. It will not give access to Orange pay TV platform OCS at launch.
