Mediacom adds Netflix, Hulu
May 11, 2015
Netflix and Hulu signed a deal with Mediacom allowing the US cable company to provide streaming services from both firms to its consumers. Mediacom is a supplier of video, phone and Internet services, with 1.3 million users across 22 US states.
Netflix will be made available as an app on TiVo set-top boxes. The addition of Netflix makes Mediacom the most recent company to facilitate its customers with continuous access to the popular streaming service.
“Striking this agreement with Netflix is another great example of Mediacom taking steps to simplify and enrich the customer experience inside the home,” commented John Pascarelli, Mediacom’s Executive VP of Operations.
