Motive granted patent in the US

Motive Television has been informed by the US patent examiner that its patent application Patent Number 14/358960 entitled “Methods for Transmitting and Receiving Audiovisual Content” has been accepted and will be registered and published upon payment of the registration and publication fee.
The patent covers methods of improving the Company’s datacasting technology to allow the use of multiple transmissions of content to enhance the viewer or subscriber’s service and experience.
Datacasting technology has been patented by Motive since 2008 and this particular patent subsequently developed datacasting with enhanced capabilities. It has a priority date of 18 November 2011. Further, the related patent applications are still pending in a number of additional key markets. Datacasting is a key component of Motive’s Content Express™ platform enabling the delivery of non-linear content services.
