Numericable DTO service

Numericable-SFR (Altice) has announced the launch of a pay to keep download service after signing agreements with five international studios and production companies.
This service has been added to Numericable’s LaBox Fibre and offers 120 titles at launch, with movies from 20th Century Fox, francetv distribution, Gaumont, Dreamworks and Disney libraries.
The films are accessible through Numericable’s new online “Videostore” space. Users will not be able, however, to transfer the content to the computers or other physical devices.
“The only package offered [in France] was that of Apple, and we think we have a place to take,” explained Numericable delegate MD, Jérôme Yomtov.
