Hulu, Viacom extend streaming deal
October 29, 2014
Hulu and Viacom have extended their content deal to bring more shows to the online streaming platform.
The expansion of the deal, which began in 2011, will bring more library episodes of shows from Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, BET, Logo, Spike, TVLand and others, and will add a selection of Latino kids’ programming in Spanish from Nickelodeon. Under the agreement, Hulu Kids will also offer more titles from Nickelodeon.
The new content will be added to Hulu’s library over the coming weeks, senior vice president and head of content Craig Erwich wrote in a blog post.
