Q2 data contained in a report from Synergy Research Group shows that client software is the fastest growing software category within the video infrastructure software market, followed by headend software. They have grown by 10 per cent-20 per cent in the past year while the third major category, content security, has actually declined. In total the video infrastructure software market has grown by 7 per cent on rolling year-on-year basis. Some individual sub-segments have grown by well over 30 per cent, including TV Everywhere, search & recommendation and cloud DVR software
