Magine TV moves to subscription model

OTT TV provider Magine TV has confirmed it is migrating to a subscription model in Germany.
Magine will offer a ‘Magic’ package including new content from pay-TV partners Sony, Discovery, Universal and Turner. Channels in the package include Boomerang, Sony Entertainment TV, Cartoon Network, Universal Channel, E! Entertainment, Nick Jr, Animal Planet, MTV Live, CNN International and Fuel TV among otheres, as well as public and commercial FTA services for €16.99 a month.
The company will also offer a package consisting of just the FTA services – namely the live-streams of Germany’s public TV channels – for a monthly ‘techinical’ fee of €6.99.
Magine will also continue to offer a premium Max package for €23.99 containing additional pay-TV services YFE, Docubox, Nautical Channel, Fastandfunbox, C Music, Duck TV, Body in Balance, Filmbox Arthouse, Fightbox and Fashionbox.
