4K transmission for Barcelona vs Atlético match

Mediapro will broadcast the Barcelona versus Atlético de Madrid football match on May 17th using 4K technology to over 50 broadcasters all over the world.
With the winner of La Liga set to be decided, the match will have an estimated audience of 500 million viewers worldwide. Mediapro will use four cameras equipped with 4k technology and 2 mixers with an image quality four times greater than HD, with over 8.000 pixels of resolution,
Highlights of the football match in 4K will be also available through La Liga channel on YouTube.
Mediapro already broadcast the game between Real Madrid and Barcelona in 4K in March. La Liga intends to broadcast matches with 4K technology more regularly in the 2014-2015 season.
