From Branislav Pekic in Rome
Telecom Italia is the changing the name of its TV on-demand service from Cubovision to TIMvision and adding new and exclusive content.
The rebranded service, initially available on smartphones and tablets and later on Smart TVs, PCs and dedicated decoders, will include new sports events, movies and TV series, in addition to the existing offer of over 5,000 titles.
TIMvision also becomes an integral part of the new 4G portfolio of mobile operator TIM: from now all 4G LTE Internet offers will include entertainment and sports at no additional cost.
TIMvision’s sports offer, viewable on tablets and smartphones, will be increased over the coming weeks, thanks to an agreement signed with pay-TV operator Sky Italia.
The service is available to all via ADSL and fibre through the decoder (€9.90 per month) and via Smart TV, PC or mobile devices (€4.90/month) thanks to a dedicated app.
