Sony has confirmed a deal with Sky that will see the Sky Go and Now TV services become available on the PlayStation 4. Now TV will launch this summer and Sky Go ‘later this year’.
Now TV offers live streaming and on-demand content from a selection of Sky channels and has been available on PlayStation 3 since last year. The service is available to both Sky subscribers and non-subscribers.
Sky Go is for viewers who do have Sky but prefer to watch content through their console. Users can still pay one-off fees to watch specific shows or channels they aren’t signed up to.
Sky has thus far issued no comments pertaining to the same services launching on Xbox One.
