Appear TV, a global provider of next-generation head-ends for broadcast and IP television, has revealed that its provided an Appear TV XC series head-end for the internal distribution of TV signals for the public broadcaster Czech TV (Ceská televize).

The head-end receives DVB satellite signals and SDI internally from the Czech TV studios. The Appear TV head-end then prepares these signals for internal distribution to Czech TV employees.

“We chose the Appear TV head-end because not only did it meet our exact technical requirements, but additionally it is capable of being modified to meet any changing requirements we may have moving forward,” said Ivo Prochazka, Chief Engineer, Czech TV.
