Avanti wins Polish satellite contract

London-based Avanti Communications says it has signed a multi-year contract for its Ka-band capacity from Polish telecoms infrastructure company Grupa Technitel. Financial terms, and the precise amount of bandwidth involved were not revealed.
Matthew O’Connor, Avanti’s Chief Operating Officer, commented “Companies operating in the utility sector demand the highest service up time. We are pleased that such a renowned supplier as Technitel recognised the quality of Avanti’s service in their selection process. Our partnership will not only deliver outstanding service to the utilities sector but will enable the flexibility to deliver bespoke services across multiple enterprise sectors.”
