Telefonica-owned IPTV platform Movistar TV has launched Movistar TV Go, a multiscreen app that allows subscribers in Spain to have access to a limited number of TV channels on all connected devices.
Launched under a promotional cost of €2.50 per month (until October), the app is available on Android and iOS and is targeted at subscribers to the Family package excluding those subscribed to sports or the ones with access to the TV bar offer.
The Go app enables the connection of up to five different devices under the same Movistar account. Channels like AXN, TNT, Calle 13, FOX, Paramount Comedy, Cosmopolitan, Nickleodeon, Hollywood, Eurosport, Disney Jr or National Geographic will be available on a multiscreen basis along with a selection of series and movies on VoD. Other channels, like Champions League Canal Plus, Canal Plus Gol League and Europa League T2 will be added in the offer from October.
