Horizon: Remote control via iPad and iPhone
June 7, 2013
upc cablecom presents the Horizon TV Remote app which allows customers to use their iPad and iPhone as a remote control for Horizon. Switzerland’s largest provider of TV and fast Internet is thus improving the TV and Video on Demand experience even further for its Horizon customers.
As well as being able to watch live TV and films on their iPad and iPhone via WLAN, customers can now also use their mobile device as a remote control for Horizon. The Horizon TV Remote app makes it easier to search for films on the Horizon HD Recorder, for instance, as the iPad and iPhone can be used as a keyboard. A further highlight is the option of pushing TV programmes or films from the iPad/iPhone via Horizon to the TV. The app also allows users to:
* Watch live TV on at least 60 channels and choose from more than 1000 On Demand films
* Watch several different TV programmes and films on the TV and on up to three iPhones/iPads simultaneously
* Search for content using a full-featured keyboard
* Get recommendations
The app is available free of charge from the iTunes Store.
