May 29, 2013
Internet television network Netflix and Fox Television Studios (FTVS) have confirmed that Season 3 of popular drama The Killing will be available exclusively to members in the UK and Ireland starting June 3rd. Each episode will be available every Monday – the day after its US broadcast – making The Killing available to members much sooner than other popular American TV programmes. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available for members to watch instantly.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing Season 3 of The Killing exclusively to our members in the UK and Ireland,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “The Killing is an incredibly gripping fan favourite so we wanted to make each new episode available as soon as possible.”
The critically-acclaimed drama, based on the Danish series Forbrydelsen, follows various murder investigations led by homicide detectives Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman).
