March 13, 2013
Alpha Networks has revealed that the Linear-TV and On-Demand Television service of KPN Group Belgium, launched under their new brand name “SNOW”, is enabled by Alpha Networks’ technology and professional services.
In August 2012, KPN Group Belgium signed a 5-year contract with Alpha Networks for the supply of its complete TV ecosystem to launch a new IPTV service in the Belgian market.
Victor Badin, CEO of Alpha Networks, commented: “This launch marks a turning point in our company demonstrating that our software solution is able to attract large telco companies and that hosted infrastructures are a valid alternative for such players”.
